F A Q’s

What are your updated guidelines?

First and foremost, your safety and that of your family is my #1 priority. So here is a list to give you what I am changing to make your experience a stress-free and enjoyable one.

For the Studio:

  • A scheduled appointment is required. The new guideline will allow for sanitizing all equipment, including props, chairs, benches, and anything a client might contact. Includes cleaning the studio restroom.
  • No groups are allowed. Only one client may be in the studio or photography area at a time. If the client is a minor, they may have one family member with them. (Exceptions may be made for group shoots, including only immediate family members.)

What is your style, and why should we choose you?

Each session is customized, to artfully document you whether it be in your home, on location or in the studio always wearing a mask and keeping a safe distance. I will continue to be quick and efficient to document with influences in photojournalism, fine art with that cinematic look. I have a relaxing demeanor and try to make your session safe and comfortable.

Do you offer hair, make-up, and styling?

Unfortunately, no, but I will put together a complimentary pdf 'Mood Board' with samples of color pallets and make-up influences to help guide you.

What about wardrobe?

We encourage you to bring your own that best reflects your personality.

Do you do fun composite sessions?

Why, yes, we do! That's our favorite. Got an idea? Let's have some fun!

Do you charge a sitting fee?

Yes, we charge a $100.00 sitting fee.

Do you require a deposit?

Yes, a 20% non-refundable deposit is required to secure the session date and time. This amount will be applied to the balance on your final invoice.

What about copyrights and usage rights?

A signed contract is required before the session commences. The photographer retains the "copyright" of all images for portfolio, social media advertising, educational purposes, and so on.  However, you will have the "usage rights" to use and share for your personal use.

Do I get all the images?

No, we delete unflattering images immediately. i.e., duplicates, blinking eyes, blurriness, etc., and hand over the best selects based on a shot list that client is requiring/requesting. We DO NOT hand over unedited or RAW images ever, no exceptions. Additional hand-edited images more than the allotted amount can be purchased separately.

What is your turnaround time for a portrait session?

We like to have a quick turnaround time in this instant digital world, but you're paying for this little luxury. Each image is hand-edited with care and thoughtfulness. We ask for a 5-10 day turnaround time. If you're ordering framed imagery or albums, add an additional 5 days.

What is your turnaround time for Events?

We typically like to have a 24-48 hour delivery time with minimal editing. However, during this unprecedented time, event photography is not available but will revisit the policy of group gatherings when applicable.

How are the images delivered?

After payment is made in full, you will receive a link to a private online gallery that you will be able to share and order prints. We try to think of everything to make it super convenient. For albums and style, we work together to get it just right!

What if I'm not happy with my imagery?

Our goal is to strive for 100% satisfaction. We don't want you to be unhappy with your imagery, but we are eager to please and can reschedule a re-shoot at no charge.

What forms of payment do you take?

  • We accept cash
  • All major credit cards

Do you charge Sales Tax?

Being a business, we do. Sales tax is applied to the final invoice.

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes. We offer interest-free financing; there is no credit check. A credit card is required. The sitting fee and 20% deposit are excluded from the payment plan and can be made in 4 monthly installments. Once payment is made in full, imagery will be delivered.

How do I cancel or reschedule my session?

There is a 7-day advance notice if you need to cancel your portrait session. The required deposit at the time of your booking to secure your session date and time will be forfeited if you cancel your shoot within 6- days or less of your scheduled session. Should you choose to reschedule and eventually cancel, this will result in the forfeit of your deposit.
